What’s new with you?
So yeah, I have been quiet lately. As you may remember, I left /n software in March and joined a new startup company in Chapel Hill called 3Birds Marketing. What have I been doing since? Lots!
First and foremost, I got engaged to the wonderful and beautiful Lauren Briggs. Yep, I’m gettin’ hitched. I’m a lucky man because #1 she’s awesome, #2 she’s smart as hell, #3 she’s hot, #4 she’s fun, and #5 she kicks ass. Seriously. Don’t mess with her or she will beat you up.
Life at 3Birds has been a LOT of fun. Some long hard hours, but building something new that I can be proud of feels great. In a nutshell, we’re building a .NET based marketing platform, on which clients and co-workers can build campaigns for email, web, and social media. A co-worker of mine from my former employer was also looking for a change, and he is aboard with 3Birds as well. We are very optimistic about the future of the company and enjoying our days at work.
Other than that, I’ve been keeping busy trying to make sure that there is plenty of life in my years. Hard work, sports, concerts, parties, great good, etc. Trying to squeeze as much juice out of life for the dollar as I can.
Our wedding is June 18th, 2011. Can’t wait!
